Summary: Due to a change in administrative staff, effective August 14, 2019, it is necessary to update the authorized signatories for the State Allocation Board (SAB). The District representatives referenced in Resolution 2017-18-05 will act as the District liaison to the SAB, and certify required information to the SAB under Chapter 12.5, part 10, of the Educational Code on behalf of the District. They will authorize specific personnel to file project applications to the SAB on behalf of the District.

In addition, by approving Resolution 2019-20-02, District representatives will be designated as California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Officers of the District for the purpose of meeting the requirements of CEQA, as well as designating the legally responsible persons who will be obligated to meet the requirements of the Storm Water Pollution Protection Act (SWPPP), as it applies to projects of the District.

Recommendation: The administration recommends that the Board of Trustees of the Beaumont Unified School District adopt Resolution 2019-20-02 naming specific District personnel to act as a liaison between Beaumont Unified School District and the State Allocation Board (SAB), designating California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Officers of the District, and identifying the legally responsible person for meeting the requirements of the Storm Water Pollution Protection Act (SWPPP).
