Summary: During the 2019-20 school year the Beaumont Unified School District’s Instructional Support Services division reviewed the English Learner (EL) reclassification criteria. The updated EL reclassification criteria was finalized after consultation from the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC), EL coordinators, District administrators and guidance from the State Board of Education. The reclassification criteria is in alignment with the recommendation of the California State Board of Education
