Summary: The Education for Homeless Children and Youth grant funding provided by the California Department of Education to county offices of education is intended for the purpose of providing training and technical assistance to local educational agency homeless liaisons and to assist them in providing the means to keep students, regarded as homeless, attending school on a regular basis.

Beaumont Unified School District shall be reimbursed an amount not to exceed $1,112.50 for the purchase of services or resources for students regarded as homeless listed in the Agreement.

Recommendation: The administration recommends the Board of Trustees of the Beaumont Unified School District ratify an agreement with Riverside County Superintendent of Schools for the Education for Homeless Children and Youth Grant for the 2019-20 fiscal year.
